Bashuuk Horde

In the year 949, a horde of orcs began to sweep across the South of Fëaforn. Many settlements in Foscarden and Lelanëon were destroyed. Three years later the Eladrin, Lady Enna Berevian of the North Gate, led her army South against the Bashuuk horde, stopping them at Carricall and Teyapacan. She was 24 years old upon her return to The North Gate - over 70 years away from an Elf's idea of adulthood.

In the centuries after the Bashuuk were defeated, Foscarden began to recover and rebuild, though the ruins of many long-abandoned settlements and structures still dotted the landscape. The province's namesake, Foslaw, was once the largest and most prosperous settlement in Fëaforn; five and a half centuries later, it was only a modest town built atop the ruins of the once great city, by settlers arriving from Nurfel.
